The Twin Comanche door has the latching mechanism just below the window.  During cruise flight it was common for the door to be pulled out slightly from the airflow suction.  This modification puts a simple latch near the top of the door to keep it pulled tight.  Makes for quieter and less drafty curise flight.  [...]
